The graph tracks the changes in enrollment in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and unemployment in the United States. Press the play button at the bottom left to watch the trends in participation over time from 1990 through 2010. Notice the spikes in participation in bad economic times, like now.
