Just thought I’d let ya’ll know that the annual Big Dipper Ice Cream Festival is coming up this weekend in Worcester! The all-you-can-eat ($5 for adults, free for kids 12 and under) festival will be held Friday and Saturday on the Worcester Common from 11am-4pm. The event is intended for kids, but who doesn’t like ice cream? I’m going!

You’ll find scoops from local ice cream shops as well as the big supermarkets: Robbie’s Place, Cold Stone Creamery, The Broadway, Turkey Hill, and Hood will all be scooping away.

YUM 😛 o> …check it out!

In other ice cream news, I just read the Ben & Jerry’s Chunkmail in my inbox. Haha…that sounds silly, but I worked there last summer so it’s acceptable to be in-the-know about Vermont’s most delicious ice cream. They’re doing a “Do Us a Flavor” Contest, asking ice cream lovers to send in their creative and tasty ideas for a new flavor….Their website is too much fun! I made a flavor called Peachy Keen Pie: a ginger-peach ice cream with chunks of pie crust and peaches, with a honey swirl…Mmmm now I want some ice cream!

OH! Who wants to take a road trip to the Ben & Jerry’s Factory with me this summer??
