I made some chocolate chip cookies for poker night on Monday:

There are only two recipes for chocolate chip cookies that I ever use- the one on the back of the Nestle chocolate chips bag, and this one from a carton of Silk Soymilk.

I made them with butter flavored Crisco, because we were out of butter- but I don’t recommend using shortening for this particular recipe, it just tastes weird. Also, they don’t spread very much so you might want to flatten them with a spoon before popping them in the oven.
